If you have any unwanted hearing aids or spectacles in your drawers at home, then why not give them a second lease of life and help someone who would otherwise not have access to them?

Hearing aids

To send unwanted hearing aids to Lions, please remove any packaging and batteries.

Please package up and send to:

Dr Michael Nolan

Lumb Gaps Barn

Haslingdon Old Road

Rossendale, BB4 8TT

If you enclose your contact details a thank you note will be sent out.

Spectacle Recycling Programme

The Lions Club takes part in a very active spectacle recycling programme and any we receive are delivered to one of two Lions recycling centres.

Some of the spectacles will be recycled to have a second use as they are broken or unsuitable spectacles. Some of the spectacles we receive go on to help children and adults in developing countries to enjoy a better quality of life. Many will experience corrected vision for the first time, enabling them to read, attend school, gain employment and take care of their families. Some specs are traded and any donations we receive from this are used in our Sight Projects across the world.

To send unwanted glasses to Lions, please remove cases and cloths and put just the glasses in a suitable package (e.g. box with bubble wrap or Jiffy bag) and send to:-
